South Warwickshire is home to three beautiful and historic towns, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa. Due to their central location, beautiful countryside and excellent links to London and the North there is an abundance of head offices and UK offices of some of the larger more well-known businesses and brands. These include Bridgestone Tyres, NFU Mutual, Aston Martin, National Grid, Baxi Heating, Calor Gas, Tulip Foods, The Wolseley group, Dennis Eagle, Volvo Group the list goes on! These organisations have resulted in a workforce geared towards business supporting functions such as sales support, administration, finance and human resources.
The proximity of one of the country’s most prestigious Universities has a knock on effect on the surrounding areas. Although, confusingly, The University of Warwick is actually nearer to Coventry but that’s another story for another day.
Automotive jobs can be found in and around Warwick as some of its largest employers are from this sector. Companies like Aston Martin Lagonda, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW and Rolls Royce all have premises in the area. Manufacture of cars and aftermarket parts for vehicles requires a skilled workforce and it needs reliable personnel to ensure the wheels of this industry keep turning and running smoothly.
If you are lucky enough to already live in and around Warwick, you’ll know that anyone who needs to move here for work is in for a treat. The area has some of the country’s most beautiful countryside, picturesque villages and historic buildings. First on the list has to be the impressive Warwick Castle and its grounds and gardens, not rock n roll but certainly worth a visit. If it’s nightlife you’re more interested in, Leamington boasts numerous bars and restaurants that you would expect to find in any prosperous and affluent town in England.
